Mix + match ideas:

  • Nuts: almonds, walnuts, pecans, cashews
  • Seeds: sunflower, pumpkin
  • Dried fruit: raisins, coconut, apricots, dried berries

this is how we do it

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F
  2. In a large bowl, mix everything dry (you can hold off on the dry fruit til after baking to maintain softness or not).
  3. In a smaller bowl wet ingredients.
  4. Mix wet into dry.
  5. Spread onto baking sheets and press it down (this is key for clusters!).
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Flip in large sections, return to oven, and bake another 20–30 minutes until golden and dry.
  8. Let cool completely (this is when clusters form!).
  9. Break up to your desired chunkiness and stir in dried fruit.

Store in an airtight container for a few weeks… if it lasts that long 😉
