Hamburger Heaven

It’s simple, this here is the best burger patty EVER!

This recipe surprised the heck out of me.

Why?

1. It was so easy to prepare.

2. The technique used ensured a flat burger – not a rounded half ball.

3. The taste 👍 was what I’ve been craving and didn’t even know it.

Air Fryer Burgers

ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/4 lb ground beef
  • Salt and Pepper

this is how we do it

You can watch the above video and get the whole version first hand or do it like this (pretty much the same):

  • Preheat Air Fryer to 375 degrees on Air Fry mode
  • Split the meat up into 4 balls.
  • Flatten and form into patty’s 3/4” thick.

I’m not missing a step. I didn’t add ANYTHING to the meat – nada, zero.

  • Now salt and pepper liberally both sides.
  • Put the dimple in the middle of the patty with your thumb.
  • Once preheated, place into the air fryer for 7 minutes – no poking, moving or squishing please.
  • Flip
  • 10 minutes more or whatever you desire for matter of doneness.

Look at how flat and charred these look‼️

Apparently when you add ingredients (spices, eggs) into the burger you create a steam that fights the crisp exterior creating that ball effect we all know and hate.

Look at this beauty!

The level of beef flavour is astounding.

Salt and pepper only.

We didn’t add eggs and sauces and veritable things to mask the actual taste of the burger meat.

Now that you have perfected the base go ahead and add all your favourite toppings.
