Here’s an oldie but a goodie, Billion Dollar Dip.

Previously known as Million Dollar Dip but due to inflation, shoddy political leadership and the PRICE OF CREAM CHEESE I have made the unilateral decision to rename it Billion Dollar Dip.
It’s a host and crowd pleaser that gets all prettied up in one bowl and can be made ahead of time.
So let’s get right to it!
ingredients

- 1 pkg. Cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1 cup of EACH cheddar & gouda
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced thin
- 1/2 cup almonds , chopped or sliced
- 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp each paprika & cayenne
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Salt to taste ( wait til the end)
this is how we do it
Mix everything up in a large bowl and transfer to a nice serving dish.
Oh ya and PAY ATTENTION!
This looks good:

But there’s zero crackers in the world that can penetrate it because…I forgot the mayo.
Now this here below (after mayo) can be scooped up quite nicely by a variety of eating vessels.

Eating vessels like cucumbers? Yep. The combo of cool and crispy with smoky and creamy is a WINNER combo.
Not thrilled about the mayo? You could substitute sour cream or Greek yogurt.
Adjust adjust adjust.
Eyeball the almonds and green onions to your liking.
Salt needs to be stirred in last because there could be a plethora of salt already in there from the bacon and almonds.
Why not put out some amazing black bean, mango and corn salsa as well and provide some variety for your favourite people ❤️
