Your morning reset and Hangover apology

The sun was out and you were enjoying some time off and one lead to two and maybe too many.

Let’s see if we can help fix that this morning.

It starts with water and some citrus and that’s it.

Take a big glass of ice water and squeeze a couple slices of lemon and orange into it.
Get it into ya.
The whole glass.

Main idea here is 2 fold:
1. Feel better
2. As soon and easily as possible.

The ice cools you down and gives you an immediate sense of relief going down your throat and into the belly.
Warm water is more effective at hydrating your body but in this case we really want to feel better right away.

Mixing the orange in with the lemon takes some of the pucker effect out of the lemon.

Sometimes the mere thought of lemon water can start a reflux that will have you running in the opposite direction.
We don’t want that.
You need to try this.

Lemon gets in there and cleans house (detoxing the liver).

Water needs to help lemon get the toxins out and rehydrate the brain and body.

Orange is just there to look pretty and soften the lemon punch.
I’d usually say something about vitamin c but the amount we’re adding is not going to be much.
It’s really just about flavouring in this case.

Do this first thing in the morning and give your system a flush.
You will experience a flush so prepare accordingly.

You’ll feel a lift right away. Nooo, not ramen noodles first or coffee.

You need an empty stomach.
You can hot dog and junk food the day away later if still desired but this first – respect the process.

This isn’t just a hangover helper.

Wash up a couple oranges and lemons, cut them up and store them in your fridge ready to go for EVERY morning BEFORE coffee.

Having them already cut up will ensure you don’t skip this simple yet valuable routine.

You dehydrate overnight.
This quick and easy water infusion is a great daily refresh and reset as well as a natural energy booster.

Drinking water throughout the day goes without saying. Room temperature is best for hydration.
Every part of your body’s system needs water to function optimally.

Try adding a glass before every meal to get your levels up.

And than drink more.
